Who We Serve and Our Approach

SDYP offers neurodevelopmental and psychodiagnostic assessment for children (5+ years old),  adolescents, and adults. We collaboratively work with youth and adults to determine their individual assessment needs.

SDYP believes in a strengths-based approach in which we work with the individuals's family, school, and other service providers to evaluate how to best utilize a person’s individual strengths to improve areas of weaknesses.

What do I gain from an evaluation?

Evaluations provide a clearer understanding of the individual including their strengths and areas of growth. All of SDYP’s evaluations result in a thorough list of specific written recommendations which may include the following: academic, social, therapeutic, community and/or psychiatric services.
